How to improve your Daily Beauty Routine

The beginning of the new year is the perfect time to re-evaluate things - your work, your diet and even your daily beauty routine. We find this process of thinking and setting goals (making resolutions if you will) helpful when trying to maintain a healthy and balanced life.

Balance is important to us because we believe it is the foundation of well-being. Some people define well-being as a diet or fitness, but we think it's more than that. It's about living a busy life, filled with healthy activities, loving friends and family and enjoying the little things like eating a piece of chocolate (or a pizza) from time to time. It's also the approach we take to make sure we have a healthy daily beauty routine.

Nourish, strengthen and finish your daily beauty routine
A healthy routine of skin care and beauty should not be a burden. It should not stop you from wearing the makeup that you like, but it should be balanced. If one of your resolutions for the coming year, month or week is to improve your beauty routine, we'd like to introduce you to our Feed, Fortify, Finish approach to skincare and make-up. The general idea is that healthy skin is obtained from the inside and outside, and that your daily beauty routine should take this into account.

3 Steps to Stop Eye Shadow Creasing

1. Conceal (with Foundation)

Start by hiding your eyes. This will help you focus on your makeup, not the bags under the eyes or dark circles. Here's the trick, apply the PurePressed or Amazing Base on your face and eye area before taking your corrector.

"Why?" You can ask. Well, our multi-tasking powder foundations are 4 in 1 products. They are of course a foundation, but they also contain broad-spectrum protection against SPF, have beneficial effects on skin care and, yes , work as a concealer. Whether you prefer to use pressed or loose powder, you can begin to disguise dark circles. Therefore, you can use less concealer, avoiding the risk of crease before your eyes.

When you apply a cache, less is more. Apply it also once you have finished your makeup to clean up the potential fallout of your eye shadow. Here is a quick reminder to help you choose a concealer under the eyes:

For a concealer that reduces puffiness while it is covering, try Active Light Under-Eye Concealer.
For a concealer that moisturizes and offers customizable coverage, try Circle \ Delete Concealer.
For very dark circles, try Enlighten Concealer.

2. premium

Once you're done with your foundation, get some Smooth Affair for Eyes on your eyelids. This product not only gives a pure shade, but it also helps eye shadows stay in place all day long. Priming also helps prevent wrinkling, smudging or agglutination of eye shadows throughout the day. As a bonus, our eyelid primers also minimize the appearance of eyelid texture (dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles), making your eyelids the ideal canvas for the appearance of your eyelids.

3. Color and definition

You have hidden You have started. Now you are ready for C-O-L-O-R. Complete your look with our eye shadows, eyeliners and mascaras.

Our tip for choosing the right color is to select eye makeup in a shade on the opposite side of the color wheel from the color of your eyes. Need suggestions? Here's a quick reminder of the best eyeshadow colors for your eye color.

When applying eye shadows, be sure to apply the lighter shades to the parts you want to move forward or highlight, and apply the darkest shades to the areas you want to remove. So if you have deep-seated eyes, apply lighter shades closer to your eye than your forehead to help catch your eye. If you want to create the illusion of a raised eyebrow, add a clear, highlighted shade to your brow bone.
